Happy New Year

       Today is the first day of the New Year, and I am looking forward to 2012. Yes, one of the reasons is my book, Betrayal, will be released sometimes this year. I’ve already got ideas for the sequel which will be about Scythe’s brother, Blade. Will he repent or remain a human forever? We will see.

       I’m also President of Colorado Romance Writers and have a terrific board with Hillary Seidl, vice president, Lori Corsentino, membership, Michelle Fryer, secretary and Summer Vierra, treasurer. With the help of these fabulous ladies, I know we’ll have a great year. If you have chance either come to one of our meetings at the Anythink library or take one of our on-line classes. We have a September retreat and two great conferences – Angela James in May and Kim Killion in August.

     Also, this will be the first time I will be attending the Romance Writers of America’s conference in Anaheim, CA. A slew of members from CRW are planning on attending and I think it will be a blast. Of course, one of the benefits is Disneyland. Did I mention I’m a Disney nut? Mickey, Minnie and of course, Captain Jack Sparrow!

     These are some of the reasons I am looking forward to 2012. What are you looking forward to? Any big travel plans?
